Description
Key Guidelines for Using the HL-A20L AWG:
To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your HL-A20L Atmospheric Water Generator, please follow these recommendations:
Before First Use:
- Allow Vertical Standing for 24 Hours:
After international shipment, let the unit stand upright for 24 hours to allow compressor oil to settle. - Place in a Ventilated Room:
Position the machine in a well-ventilated area, such as a kitchen with open windows. If using heating systems (e.g., air conditioners), place the HL-A20L in a separate space to prevent interference with humidity levels.
Operating Instructions:
Water Collection:
– Water becomes available when the screen shows the water level at 1/2.
– During spring conditions (moderate humidity), it may take up to 2 days to reach this level.
Flush Filters Before Drinking:
– Allow the unit to produce water to flush the filters 1-2 times, taking 5-6 days to complete.
– Drain the water when the level reaches 3/4, then begin using the water for drinking or testing. This removes any residual dust from the filters.
Hot Water Dispensing:
– Press the heating button (located on the top back side) once enough water has been produced.
– Dispense hot water by pressing the hot water outlet and red safety lock simultaneously.
Continuous Operation Recommended:
– Keep the HL-A20L running continuously for optimal performance.
– The unit features an internal water circulation process every 6 hours to maintain purified water quality.
If Switched Off for Over Two Days:
– Drain all water from tanks and filters.
– Flush the system before resuming use to prevent bacterial growth, especially in hot weather.
Flushing the Internal Water Tank and Pipes:
- Power on the machine.
- Add tap water to the lower tank until the screen shows it is full.
- Drain the water via the back drainage port.
- Repeat the process 3 times.
- On the fourth flush, dispense water from the hot and cold faucets. Discard the first batch and test the second for any smell or residue. If issues persist, filters may need replacement.
If Switched Off for Over a Week:
Replace water filters and disinfect the machine:
- Turn off the HL-A20L and remove the filters.
- Prepare a citric acid solution as per product instructions (13-15L recommended for severe cleaning).
- Use rubber gloves and a soft brush to clean the upper and lower tanks with the solution.
- Fill the upper tank with the solution until all internal tanks are full, then let it sit for 30 minutes.
- Drain the solution via the drainage port.
Rinsing After Citric Acid Cleaning:
- Reinstall filters and cover the upper tank.
- Power on the machine.
- Fill the lower tank with tap water and drain through the back port 3 times.
- On the fourth rinse, test water from the hot and cold faucets. If any issues persist, replace the filters.
By following these guidelines, your HL-A20L will deliver reliable, clean drinking water while maintaining peak performance.
